Notices - Sunday 3rd March

Special Collection- Day One
A Special collection will be taken at all services today for Day One (formerly Lord's Day Observance Society). Collection points will be in place at each exit and at the two doors leading from upstairs. Tonight- Bayhead Youth Group will meet in the Bridge Centre, 8.30-9.30pm. Mairianne Campbell will be the speaker. All are welcome to attend.
All young people are invited to the hall after the evening service for food and refreshment before heading down to the Bridge Centre together for 8.30pm.


Tuesday 5th March
-Basic Christianity discussion group will meet from 7:30-9pm in the MA Hall. Please join us in a relaxed informal setting to explore what Christianity is all about.

-Youth Club meets from 7.30-9.30pm for S2-S6 in the Hall.

Thursday 7th March
A small group for Bible-Based trauma healing called ‘Binding Brokenness’ meets in the afternoon. This confidential, small group aims to be a safe space for group members to learn how the Bible speaks into their suffering and how to process trauma and loss of any kind. Saturday 9th March
There will be a Soup and Pudding fundraising lunch in aid of Alzheimer’s from 12-2pm in the MA Hall. All welcome. Read the New Testament in 2019 For those participating in the Free Church’s Generation Bible Read Through Project, the chapters in the reading plan for this week are Ephesians 1 to 5.

There will be a Congregational Fellowship after the evening service. Dawn Campbell will speak about Moldova Youth Camps.


Monday 11th March
-Deacons’ Court will meet at 7pm in the Session Room, Kenneth St

-Mental Health Meeting. NHS Western Isles will be holding a meeting as part of World Café Events on Monday 11th March, from 5-7pm, at the Education Unit, Western Isles Hospital. All interested in mental health and dementia are invited to attend to meet with the NHSWI team undertaking the mental health service redesign across the Western Isles and to talk with them about what redesigned services will mean for the community in the future.
