Notices - Sunday 26th May

Youth Fellowship will meet tonight after the evening service in the hall. The theme is ‘Apologetics’ and and all young people are welcome.


Monday 27th May
Kirk Session meets at 7pm in the Session Room, Kenneth St.


Tuesday 28th May:
-Basic Christianity discussion group will meet from 7:30-9pm in the MA Hall. -Please join us in a relaxed informal setting to explore what Christianity is all about.

-Craft Group meets in the Hall from 7.30pm. All welcome.


Thursday 30th May
“Adoration”, a Gospel group from Fairhope, Alabama USA, will give a recital of Christian songs in the MA Hall, from 7.30pm-8.30pm. Adoration include a Gospel message as part of their recital. The recital will also include the singing of two Gaelic psalms in the traditional way. Adoration insist on not charging an entrance fee and they do not perform in order to sell merchandise of any kind. A financial donation to Bethesda hospice can be given on entry but this is entirely voluntary, not a condition of entry, and all donations will go to Bethesda hospice. Please treat this as an evangelistic occasion, so do invite people to come. Everyone is welcome.


Free Church Youth Camps:
There are still some spaces on Kincraig Girls Camp (P7-S2), Junior Football Camp (boys P6-S2), Oswestry Juniors 1 (S1-S3), Renfrew Seniors(S4-S6), Senior Football Camp (boys S2-S6) and B.A.S.E. Camp (age 18-23). Please contact [email protected] to book a place or for more information.


Read the New Testament in 2019
For those participating in the Free Church’s Generation Bible Read Through Project, the chapters in the reading plan for this week are Acts 17-22.

There will be a Communion Preparatory Service in the Seminary at 7.00pm on Saturday 1st June. The Kirk Session will meet before the service at 6.30pm in the Seminary Session Room. Any who wish to take communion for the first time are welcome to meet with the Session after the service.

The Gideons Western Isles Branch Annual Rally will be held in the Associated Presbyterian Church, Keith Street from 7.30 pm. The main speaker will be Rev Hector Morrison, Principal of the Highland Theological College.
