Notices - Sunday 20 August

Monday 21st August
- Deacons’ Court will meet in the Kenneth Street Session Room at 7.00pm
- All crèche volunteers, Tweenies leaders and helpers as well as Central Sunday School teachers are invited to a meeting on Monday 21st at 7.30pm in the upstairs hall to discuss the needs of their groups for the 2017-18 session.

Friday 25th August
All are warmly welcome to the Congregational Fellowship after the evening preparatory services on Friday night, meeting for refreshments and a time of informal fellowship in the MA Hall after which we will hear from the visiting ministers, God willing.

Children and youth groups
Parent & Toddler meets on Tuesday (1.00–3.00pm) and Thursday (9.45-11.45am)
Campaigners is off until September

Death Notices
We note with sadness the following recent deaths in the congregation and we pray that God will comfort their families and relatives in their time of sorrow.

Mr Norman Mackay, aged 82, Blar Buidhe, formerly 15 Torquil Terrace, on 11th August. Remembering his brother Calum Iain (elder in High Free) and sister Tina who is in England.

Mrs Mary Ann Graham, aged 85, 25d Keith Street, formerly of 40 Coll, on 14th August. We remember her brother Neil and his family (East Calder).

We offer sincere, prayerful sympathies to Mr John and Mrs Rhona Morrison whose little baby Josh passed away unexpectedly. The funeral was on Tuesday 8th August in the hospital chapel.

Creche and Tweenies There is a crèche that meets in the hall next door to the church during the morning service. Age 0-2yrs (Creche) and age 3-7 (Holiday Tweenies) both meet downstairs. Families, you are welcome to take your children to the crèche/Tweenies at any time and please remember to sign them in.

Sunday School does not meet until September.

Accessing the church Anyone who has mobility issues and who has difficulty managing the steps at the foyer and the front entrance of the church is encouraged to use the level access entry and exit door on the right hand side of the church.
Office-bearers are always available to assist if required.
